What is the PipeScannAR?

Augmented reality (AR) is an enhanced version of the real physical world that is achieved through the use of digital visual elements, sound, or other sensory stimuli and delivered via technology. It is a growing trend among companies involved in mobile computing and business applications in particular. Amid the rise of data collection and analysis, one of augmented reality’s primary goals is to highlight specific features of the physical world, increase understanding of those features, and derive smart and accessible insight that can be applied to real-world applications. Such big data can help inform companies’ decision making and gain insight into consumer spending habits, among others.

Our Goals

Augmented reality is increasingly used through smartphones, tablets and head-mounted displays with the goal of enhancing the real world with virtual elements in an interactive manner. About AR

Augmented reality is the enrichment of the real world with information from the virtual world. Augmented reality is one of the usage technologies that has the potential to be applied in almost every field for a short time. Augmented reality is an example of virtual reality. Virtual reality is an application that provides organs with a 3D angle of 360 degrees to stand forward, up and down, left and right, in all kinds of indoor and outdoor spaces and realizing computer and internet environment. Thus, the watched pictures are in it and it is felt as if it had happened. Augmented reality, on the other hand, blurs the line between the real thing and the computer product by enriching what we see, see and see. In augmented reality, the real environment is more dominant than the virtual environment. Unlike virtual reality, augmented reality allows users to perceive the real world combined with virtual objects. With augmented reality, it is possible to predict how a nest will adapt to the conditions that include it before it is built. In excavation work at construction sites, damage to existing infrastructure facilities is quite often a reality. In order to prevent such negativities, it has integrated augmented reality and global positioning system (GPS) and combined CAD (ComputerAided Design) models of infrastructure facilities with live videos of real view. Thus, the operation of the equipment is provided at the real excavation site, by displaying the virtual images of the infrastructure facilities in real time, and benefiting from the damage to the infrastructure facilities of the excavation. Building Information Modeling (BIM) of the construction site was prepared and it was tried to increase the occupational safety awareness of children with various training scenarios.
